Alleged Will Smith shooter indicted for murder

A New Orleans grand jury on Thursday indicted Cardell Hayes, the man who shot former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith eight times (seven in the back) in early April, on four charges, including second-degree murder. The other charges levied against Hayes are attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage, and aggravated criminal assault with a firearm, according to CNN.
Those charges were brought against Hayes for allegedly shooting Smith’s widow, Racquel, who was shot twice in the leg.
Hayes shot the Smiths during an argument over an automobile accident in the streets of New Orleans. Smith’s SUV was rearended by Hayes’ car, …
