Pablo Carreno Busta will play in his 4th quarter-final of the season after beating Japanese Taro Daniel 6-4 7-5. Last year’s semi-finalist fell behind at the start of the second set but he managed to come back soon after, and just like in the first set he was more focused in the crucial moments as the set was reaching its closure. The match started with exchanged breaks and 7 safe games for the servers after that. Carreno Busta made the decisive break in game 10 to take the set 6-4 and the initial advantage. Daniel broke his rival in the first game of the second set but his lead was short-lived, as Busta leveled the score with his break in game 4. …
