Report: Broncos called Eagles about Bradford

The Eagles’ franchise quarterback currently isn’t on the roster, though that will change shortly after 8 p.m. ET Thursday when the team is expected to select Carson Wentz with the No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. This development hasn’t gone over well with the Eagles’ current quarterback, Sam Bradford, whose agent announced earlier this week that the organization should have given Bradford a heads-up about their intentions to trade up in the draft.
Now Bradford, who’ll make $18 million in 2016 and could make $36 million over two years, wants to be traded.
“[Eagles GM Howie Roseman] was not too surprised [about Bradford’s trade request],” Condon said this week, via ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio. “He knew how Sam felt. Sam made it very clear to them, he was adamant when they informed him last week about the trade up to No. 2. He told them he was not very happy about it. He made that very clear. So this [trade demand] comes as no surprise.
