Strained oblique sidelines Street

ANAHEIM — Angels closer Huston Street suffered a strained left oblique while warming up prior to Wednesday’s game and will probably have to go on the disabled list.
A formal decision has not been made, but fellow reliever Mike Morin missed nearly six weeks when he suffered a strained oblique last year, and starter Matt Shoemaker was out for a little less than three weeks down the stretch in 2014. A postgame MRI confirmed the oblique strain for Street, who will let the ailment heal for 72 hours before doctors determine a timeline.
