Liverpool’s UEFA Europa League campaign continues on Thursday with a semi-final date with Spanish outfit Villarreal.
The Reds travel to El Madrigal for the first leg having dramatically toppled tournament favourites Borussia Dortmund in the previous round, but the Yellow Submarine may pose an even trickier challenge.
The other semi-final sees Sevilla bidding to win the tournament for the third season in a row, but it’s a tall order considering Shakhtar Donetsk are their opponents—a side expertly guided by manager Mircea Lucescu.

Intriguing Managerial Battle at El Madrigal
Although Liverpool’s Premier League position is not much better than when Brendan Rodgers was in charge (seventh in the table), there’s no doubt that Jurgen Klopp has made an impact in cup competitions.
