Sandoval says shoulder feels ‘a lot better’

BOSTON — On the two-week anniversary of when Pablo Sandoval had to be placed on the disabled list with a left shoulder strain, the third baseman reported he was feeling much improved on Wednesday.
“A lot better,” Sandoval said. “It’s still sore, but we’ll see what’s going on. The inflammation at least went down; it’s to a good point, so now we’re going to see what’s going on there.”
That information will come Monday, when Sandoval gets his second opinion from Dr. James Andrews. In the meantime, he will concentrate on the tedious portion of …
