Duncan: Refs don’t give Kawhi deserved respect

In just five seasons, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard has established himself among the top-tiered players in the league. Winning an NBA Finals MVP, the Defensive Player of the Year award twice and becoming an All-Star this season, there are few players that can play on both ends of the floor at such a high level like Leonard.
Although Leonard is considered a star on the Spurs, he hasn’t been treated to the so-called superstar calls that players like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are accustomed to getting. His teammate Tim Duncan, believes that this is because Leonard is simply not getting the proper respect he deserves from officials.
