Fratangelo is big on determination to enter tournaments which will lead to success

Bjorn was nearly into his pre-school years of 3, when his father, Mario started supporting him into tennis as his coach in their hometown of Plum, Pennsylvania. Plum is a borough in Allegheny County, referred to as “Plum Boro”, an ancient town founded in 1788. It is famous for the Oakmont Country Club ranked one of the 5 best golf courses in America. Also Plum is the hometown of the founder of The Boys Scouts of America, William D. Boyce. Bjorn attended the St. John the Baptist school until 8th grade, then the family moved to Naples, Florida where they could be closer to the tennis training center for Bjorn to attend and start learning the techniques and strategies on tennis.
After being at the center and playing Challengers, Bjorn acquired a national coach–Stanford Boster. In 2011 turned out to be a good year because he gained entry into the French Open Boys event and won over Dominic Thiem, a well established ATP player. A few months later he was in the ITF Pro Circuit making his 1st final in the USA F17. He was also fortunate to enter the 2011 US Open Boys event, but lost in 3 sets to Oliver Golding.
