Fletcher: Spurs need to learn

West Brom captain Darren Fletcher believes Tottenham need to learn to become more ruthless if they want to win the Premier League title.
Spurs’ title hopes appear to have faded after they surrendered a one-goal lead at home to the Baggies on Monday night to draw 1-1.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men missed several chances to put the result beyond doubt at White Hart Lane and then seemed shell-shocked when Tony Pulis’ side equalised, failing to respond in the 18 minutes thereafter.
Fletcher believes the ability to grind out results when not performing at their best is a mark of title-winning sides and he feels that is something Spurs still need to learn.
“You’ve got to rise to the pressure and thrive under it,” Fletcher said.
“You’ve got to see it as a challenge and win games ugly. You’ve got to throw people in the box and see games out when you’re winning 1-0.
