UFC 197 salaries: Jones leads way with 500k

Jon Jones was advised by his team that taking a last-minute replacement bout at UFC 197 after the removal of Daniel Cormier might not have been the best idea. Maybe his paycheck had something to do with him signing up for the interim title bout against Ovince Saint Preux. The new UFC interim light heavyweight champion made a cool 500k in disclosed salary to compete on the card, and took a unanimous decision victory.
