Warriors’ Kerr wins NBA Coach of the Year honor

Steve Kerr of the Golden State Warriors has won the NBA’s Coach of the Year award for the 2015-16 season, it was announced Tuesday.
Kerr is expected to receive the trophy prior to Game 5 of the Warriors’ first-round series against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

Steve Kerr, despite missing 43 games, was named the NBA’s Coach of the Year after the Warriors won an NBA-record 73 games this season.
