Bayern confirm Hummels interest

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed Mats Hummels is considering a return to Bayern Munich next season.
The Borussia Dortmund defender, who left Bayern in 2008 having made just one first-team appearance, is currently mulling over his future amid reported interest from Bundesliga leaders.
Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke had earlier admitted that Hummels had “unfinished business” in Munich and Bayern chairman Rummenigge has now revealed there is a real possibility of the 27-year-old going back to Bavaria.
“I can basically confirm what Watzke said, that Mats is considering Bayern,” Rummenigge was quoted by sport1.de, ahead of Bayern’s Champions League semi-final at Atletico Madrid.
