APR down Police to reclaim top spot

Defending champions APR reclaimed top spot of the Rwanda Premier League after edging Police 2-1 in a Week 18 topliner on Sunday in Kigali.
A goal each from Issa Bigirimana and Jean Claude Iranzi earned the military side the maximum points and go four points clear at the top.
APR went into the lead on seven minutes through Bigirimana before Police skipper Innocent Habyarimana drew level on 34 minutes. Two minutes from time, Iranzi snatched the winner to keep APR in pole position for a successful defence of the title.
