Omar Jasika Announces Sabbatical from Tennis, Backtracks Promptly!

Players react to losses differently. But Australian player, Omar Jasika took his reaction a step further after his loss in the qualifiers of the Ostrava Challenger.
Jasika, seeded fourth in the qualifying draw of the Challenger event, was upset by French player Sadio Doumbia in the first round of qualifiers, in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. While it was understandable that the 18-year old would have been disappointed with the result, it came as a surprise when Jasika announced on his official Facebook page that he would be stepping back from the sport as it wasn’t the dream he wanted to pursue anymore. …
