d’Arnaud forced out early with shoulder pain

NEW YORK — Mets catcher Travis d’Arnaud left Monday night’s 5-3 win over the Reds in the eighth inning with shoulder discomfort, the team announced. The club did not immediately specify which shoulder d’Arnaud had injured.
The root of d’Arnaud’s injury was not immediately clear, but he was removed for Kevin Plawecki two innings after singling off Reds reliever J.C. Ramirez. …
