Souness: Pressure got to Spurs

Graeme Souness says Tottenham ‘froze’ under the pressure as their title hopes were dented by a 1-1 draw with West Brom on Monday Night Football.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were looking to close the gap to Leicester at the top of the Premier League table to five points with three games to play and they looked to be on course to do that following Craig Dawson’s first-half own goal.
However, West Brom fought back with Dawson scoring at the other end to hand West Brom a share of the spoils and leave Leicester needing a victory at Manchester United on Super Sunday to clinch a first league title.
And Souness believes going for a first Premier League title of their own got to some of Tottenham’s players in the second half at White Hart Lane.
