Bruce goes on paternity list; Reds bring up Somsen

CINCINNATI — The Reds placed right fielder Jay Bruce on the three-day paternity list on Monday and summoned right-handed reliever Layne Somsen from Triple-A Louisville to take his place on the 25-man roster.
A corresponding 40-man roster move to make room for Somsen is pending.
