Liverpool to learn Ings fee

Liverpool could this week finally discover how much compensation they are due to pay Burnley for England international Danny Ings.
The 23-year-old striker moved to Anfield from Turf Moor when his contract expired last summer but, because of his age, the Clarets are due a fee for a player who spent four years with them and who scored 11 goals in their Premier League campaign last term.
Although Ings signed for the Reds in June, the two north-west clubs have been unable to reach a compromise on his valuation in the 10 months since so the chief executives from both clubs, Liverpool’s Ian Ayre and Burnley’s Dave Baldwin, will meet with an …
