Serena Williams is spending her 290th week at the top of the WTA rankings, and also 167th in succession, closing on Graf’s 186. Serena is still almost 3000 points ahead of Agnieszka Radwanska and Angelique Kerber, who successfully defended her Stuttgart title. The battle for the second place stays wide open, with only 35 points between the two. Top 5 places remain the same, with Petra Kvitova moving ahead of Simona Halep in 6th and 7th. The only other change in the Top 20 is for the 15th and 16th place, as Timea Bacsinszky goes in front of Lucie Safarova.

Struggling Caroline Wozniacki slips from 24th to 28th but all in all, there were no changes inside the Top 40 from the 7 days ago. Laura Siegemund gained 29 positions after her great Stuttgart run, moving from 71st to 42nd. Danka Kovinic, who reached Istanbul final, cracks Top 50, and Turkish player Cagla Buyukakcay is probably the happiest camper inside the Top 100 after she won maiden WTA title in Istanbul. With those points, Cagla jumped from 118th to 82nd. Full Top 100 list: 1. Serena Williams (USA) 8625 2. Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) 5775 3. Angelique Kerber (GER) 5740 4. Garbine Muguruza (ESP) 4876 5.
