Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.
The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Monday.
Anthony Gose: The outfielder owns notable career splits, with a .683 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .527 mark vs. lefties. Gose could provide cost-effective production in DraftKings contests when he faces A’s righty Kendall Graveman (career 4.40 FIP, 1.33 WHIP).
Miguel Cabrera: With a lifetime .321/.389/.560 slash line against right-handers, Cabrera has proven to be among the best in baseball in those matchups. The first baseman could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he faces Graveman (career 1.1 HR/9 rate).
Francisco Lindor: Since making his Major League debut on June 14, 2015, the shortstop — who has already accumulated 13 career homers and 15 steals — has logged a .926 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .765 mark vs. righties. Lindor may reach base often when he faces Twins southpaw Tommy Milone (career 4.02 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) and could swipe a base against Kurt Suzuki, who allowed more steals than all but two catchers in ’15.
Mike Napoli: Having produced a lifetime .916 OPS against left-handers (.803 vs. righties), the first baseman will be in prime position to display his power when he faces the lefty Milone (5.87 ERA in 2016). In addition, the slugger could benefit from batting at Target Field — which has proven to be a favorable venue for right-handed power hitters such as Napoli.
Ryan Raburn: Raburn has produced notable lifetime splits, with an .833 OPS against left-handers compared to a .695 mark vs. righties. The outfielder — who has recorded a 1.043 OPS against southpaws since the start of 2015 — could put a ball into the outfield seats at his hitter-friendly home park when he faces Pirates lefty …
