In a latest development, it is being speculated that Wimbledon officials are considering increasing the prize money at the prestigious event to £2 million for the winners.
The announcement of the increase is expected to arrive officially sometime next week, however, an analysis by Sportsmail has revealed that the prize money at Wimbledon has increased by double in the past 6 years while the average wage of an English Premier League footballer has only risen 43 percent. …
