Denver, Atlanta want to host future NFL drafts

Don’t look for the NFL Draft to return to Chicago next year.
Although the league has been happy with the city, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell told the Chicago Sun-Times on Friday that the draft will “very likely” move to another city in 2017.
If the draft does move, it means that the event will have been hosted by three different cities in four years.
The Windy City is set to host the 2016 draft, which begins on Thursday. This year’s draft will mark the second consecutive year that Chicago has hosted. Before that, New York had hosted every draft since 1965.
It looks like the NFL’s goal is to spread the wealth.
