Carrick not getting carried away

Manchester United are odds-on to lift the FA Cup after beating Everton 2-1 in Saturday’s semi-final at Wembley but Michael Carrick has warned they still have work to do.
Carrick and Wayne Rooney both featured in the United team the last time they reached the FA Cup final – losing 1-0 to Chelsea after extra-time in 2007 – and the midfielder is keen to lift the trophy this time around.
“It would be amazing [to win the FA Cup], but I don’t want to get carried away,” Carrick told MUTV after Anthony Martial’s last-gasp strike sealed the victory over Everton.
