48 suspicious matches in the first quarter of 2016, 17 more than 2015 in the same period!

The Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU) received an alert on 48 matches played in the first quarter of 2016. This is an increase of 17 matches than in 2015 for the same period.
Two of these matches were played at the Australian Open, one each amongst the men and women’s draw, 12 were played at the Challenger level, 24 in the ITF Futures and 10 in the ITF Women’s events. The total number of matches played around the world in …
