Kamisnky owes big Game 3 to Jordan, Ewing

Charlotte Hornets rookie Frank Kaminsky didn’t make much of an impact in the first two games of their first-round series against the Miami Heat. Actually, that’s being kind — in Games 1 and 2, Kaminsky was close to invisible, going 0 for 1 for four points with three rebounds in 37 combined minutes.
In Saturday’s Game 3, the story was completely different. Kaminsky scored 15 points on 5-for-12 shooting, plus six rebounds in 35 minutes. Oh, and the Hornets won 96-80.
After the game, Charlotte coach Steve Clifford revealed that owner Michael Jordan and assistant coach Patrick Ewing had both suggested getting Kaminsky more touches in the post.
