Russell Westbrook Rises to Throw Down the Jam, Slams It Against the Rim Instead

It must have been opposite day at American Airlines Center on Saturday.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook looked like he was about to wreak havoc on the rim during the first quarter of Game 4 of his team’s first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks when the script quickly flipped.
The star guard instead got rejected by the rim, not rising high enough on the delivery.
The Thunder won, 119-108, to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
