Avila could land on DL with sore hamstring

CHICAGO — White Sox catcher Alex Avila felt his right hamstring tighten running to second base in the sixth inning of Saturday’s 4-3 walk-off win over the Rangers in 11 innings, and he immediately felt frustrated.
Avila, who was 1-for-1 with two walks, left the game after the inning with soreness in the hamstring. After the game, he said, “They’ll probably put me on the DL.”
