Andy Murray Confirms Davis Cup Participation

Team Great Britain have to thank Andy Murray a lot after his heroics in last year’s Davis Cup as he led the team to their first ever triumph in 79 years. And going into the quarterfinals which is set to be hosted in Serbia – a week after Wimbledon, the World No 2 has confirmed that he will be available to play if his body allows him to do so.
“The plan is to play but it is going to be difficult,” Murray said. “I need to play it a little bit by ear, as well, because I just don’t know how the body is going to respond.” As things stand if Murray plays for Great Britain and Serbia have Novak Djokovic – the Davis Cup would have the …
