La Liga’s top three were all in action on Saturday, and Atletico Madrid briefly seized control of the title race with a tight 1-0 win over Malaga at the Vicente Calderon. But their joy was short-lived when Barcelona followed that by smashing six past Sporting Gijon at the Camp Nou to regain top spot.
