NEW YORK — Blake Snell’s Major League debut didn’t start out so hot, but it sure ended strong.
The Rays’ top prospect and MLBPipeline.com’s No. 12 overall prospect tossed five quality innings Saturday during Tampa Bay’s 3-2 loss to the Yankees, allowing one run and two hits while striking out six and walking one. He exited with the Rays leading, 2-1.
