At UFC 135, Jon Jones successfully made his first title defense by defeating former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson. That night, Jones submitted Jackson via rear-naked choke at 1:14 of round four.
Jones is currently scheduled to fight Ovince Saint Preux for the interim UFC light heavyweight title in the main event of this Saturday’s UFC 197.
