Rams’ Ayers reveals his preference for top pick

Between now and April 28, the Los Angeles Rams have a huge decision to make. The team has to decide who to select with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Although general manager Les Snead recently admitted that there’s a “leader in the clubhouse” between Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, Snead has yet to tip his hand on who the pick might be.
Snead might not be willing to talk about who the Rams might take, but at least one person in the organization is: Akeem Ayers.
The linebacker told TMZ on Friday that he’s hoping the Rams decide to go with Goff.
“I like the Pac-12 guy,” Ayers said. “I’ve seen him play against UCLA, so why not add another Pac-12 guy to the roster?”
