(Purple) Rain in forecast for Monday as Twins plan Prince tribute

WASHINGTON – The Minnesota Twins return home to Target Field on Monday, and there’s rain in the forecast – the purple kind.
The Twins were on the road at Milwaukee when news of Prince’s death first surfaced on Thursday. But following a weekend series in DC against the Nationals, they’ll head back to Minneapolis – Prince’s hometown – for a six-game home stand that kicks off with a Monday night matchup against the Cleveland Indians. And they plan on paying tribute to the legendary musician.
“We’re all walking up to Prince songs,” Brian Dozier said prior to Saturday’s game against Washington.
