Santana scratched Sunday due to sore back

WASHINGTON — Ervin Santana has been scratched from his scheduled start Sunday with a sore lower back, the Twins announced Saturday.
Right-hander Tyler Duffey will be called up to start in Santana’s absence.
Assistant general manager Rob Antony said Santana first felt pain in his back when he bent down to pick up a ball during batting practice Friday. Santana will not be placed on the disabled list, and Antony said the Twins plan …
