Frankie Edgar: With Conor McGregor out, Jose Aldo fight at UFC 200 ‘should be for the vacant title’

UFC president Dana White spent a majority of Friday’s UFC 200 press conference defending his decision to pull Conor McGregor from the July 9 card. But McGregor’s absence didn’t bother Frankie Edgar.
Edgar, who fights Jose Aldo at UFC 200 for the interim featherweight title, said that he didn’t care why McGregor was a no-show at the press conference and that in light of the UFC’s decision, his rematch against Aldo should be for the real UFC featherweight belt.
