White Sox turn 9-3-2-6-2-5 triple play

CHICAGO — The White Sox turned their first triple play since the first inning of a game against Detroit on Sept. 18, 2006, and they did it in rather interesting fashion.
With the bases loaded and nobody out, Mitch Moreland ripped a shot to right off of Jose Quintana. But Adam Eaton was in place to make the catch and quickly threw the ball back into first baseman Jose Abreu to double off Ian Desmond.
