Flu forces Felix to miss start against Angels

ANAHEIM — Mariners ace Felix Hernandez was scratched from Friday night’s start against the Angels due to illness, with right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma moving up a day in the rotation to take his place in the 7:05 p.m. PT game.
Hernandez is dealing with the flu and it’s not known yet whether he’ll take Iwakuma’s original slot on Saturday or be pushed back further.
