Benitez set for warm welcome

Kenny Dalglish says Anfield will give former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez a warm reception when he returns with Newcastle on Saturday.
The Spaniard, who steered the Reds to Champions League glory in 2005, will be making his second return after earning a 2-2 draw as interim Chelsea boss in 2013 and Dalglish believes fans have plenty of reasons to thank Benitez.
“Rafa will be welcomed back with open arms and rightly so,” said Dalglish.
“The Liverpool supporters have a reputation for paying tribute to anyone who has made a positive contribution to the club and I’ve no doubt it will be no different on this occasion.”
