Shenzhen International 2016: Friday Leaderboard Scores and Highlights

Soomin Lee topped the leaderboards at the Shenzhen International on Friday in a stop-start day of play that will need to be resumed on Saturday.
Lee carded an impressive 65 as he moved to 13 under with a three-shot lead over Joost Luiten, while Thursday’s joint leader Alexander Levy was restricted to just three holes and remains on six under as play repeatedly had to be suspended due to stormy weather.

Lee coped well despite the breaks in play and was able to maintain his momentum for much of the round.
The Korean parred his first and birdied his second—the 11th—just before an almost four-hour break in play. He picked up right where he left off, though, picking up two more shots at the 12th and 13th.
Lee scored three successive birdies once more at the 17th, 18th and first before a second interruption, and on his return he parred the next seven holes and rounded out his day in style with another birdie at the par-five ninth hole.
