Former World No 1, Maria Sharapova admitted in a press conference held in Los Angeles last month to having failed a drug test at the Australian Open. Since the Russian’s admittance, there has been a lot of talk about what Meldonium is and what affects does it have and even though Sharapova is the only case to have come out in tennis, other athletes from other sports have also been found using the drug.
