Arsenal Transfer News: Kostas Mitroglou Talks Reported, Latest Gunners Rumours

Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Fulham striker Kostas Mitroglou when his loan spell with Benfica comes to a close at the end of this season. However, the Gunners have been warned off Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia.
According to Portuguese newspaper Record, the Gunners have already held negotiations with the Cottagers to complete a £5.5 million move for Mitroglou this summer (h/t Metro’s Tom Olver).
The Greek international endured an uneventful six months at Craven Cottage after joining Fulham in January 2014, returning to former club Olympiakos on loan the following summer before moving to Benfica on temporary terms.
Mitroglou has picked his form back up in the Primeira Liga with 22 goals in 40 appearances for Benfica, and Metro’s Portuguese football expert Jan Hagen illustrated his recent form as being among the hottest in Europe:
