Panthers GM: Door’s open for Norman’s return

Earlier Thursday, a list of teams that are reportedly interested in Josh Norman surfaced. The Panthers, for an obvious reason — they’re why Norman is a free agent — were not on that list. But could the Panthers and Norman actually circle back and reunite?

Probably not, but Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman isn’t ruling it out.

“No. No,” Gettleman said on Thursday, via NFL.com. “No doors have been shut. We respect Josh. Doors have not been shut.”

Again, the reunion probably won’t happen, despite Gettleman’s open-door approach (unless, of course, they have some sort of Gettleman’s agreement already in place). When the Panthers parted ways with Norman, they cast a clear signal that they …
