Grand finale: Yasmani plates winner for LA

ATLANTA — Clayton Kershaw escaped multiple threats and Matt Wisler overcame most of the defensive mistakes made behind him. But after these two starting pitchers set the tone at Turner Field on Thursday afternoon, Yasmani Grandal provided a 10th-inning double that allowed the Dodgers to claim a 2-1, 10-inning win over the Braves.
Grandal’s one-out double off Alexi Ogando scored Enrique Hernandez from first base and enabled the Dodgers to end this three-game set with consecutive 10-inning victories over the Braves, who had entered Wednesday having won four straight games since beginning the season with nine straight losses.
