Koeman: Top six still possible

Ronald Koeman believes Southampton are still capable of finishing in the top six but thinks a poor run of away results earlier this season could ultimately prove costly.
Southampton – currently eighth in the Premier League – visit Aston Villa on Saturday, trailing sixth-placed West Ham by five points following the Hammers’ 3-1 win over Watford on Wednesday night.
“In my opinion it is possible, it is achievable,” said Koeman, who confirmed Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama are available for the visit to Villa Park.
“But then you can’t make mistakes like we did in several games or in most of them away from home.
“We lost too many points and we hadn’t enough wins away from home and that makes it more difficult.”
