Chris Jones 23-year old guard Chris Jones (188-G-93) put on an amazing game in the last round for Starwings and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.He had the game-high 24 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Starwings in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Lausanne (#9, 4-7) 76-71. Starwings maintains the 4th position in Swiss league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Starwings will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team’s last game Jones had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Starwings’ top player in his first season with the team. Angelo State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jones is in league’s top in points (8th best: 19.5ppg), assists (8th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 58.5% FGP.Second best performed player last round was Travis Taylor (203-F-90) of league’s second-best Fribourg.
