Srinivasan, Thakur, Shirke converge at informal meeting

Former BCCI presidents N Srinivasan and Anurag Thakur were part of a group of office bearers from 24 states associations that met in Bangalore on Saturday evening, for an informal meeting, to discuss their next step following the latest Supreme Court order. The judgement had effectively put an end to the administrative careers of a majority of the office bearers, given it disqualified those who had exceeded nine years in office – as per the Lodha Committee’s interpretation, at BCCI or state level or both combined – from staying on.
