News of the action from a foggy Wincanton where Walk In The Mill continued his progression with an easy victory.
Walk In The Mill continued his progression with an easy win in the Bathwick Tyres Handicap Chase at a foggy Wincanton.
Trained by Robert Walford, Walk In The Mill had been raised 5lb after winning at Exeter last time out, but now looks set for another rise in grade.
Quite what happened during the race itself is unclear as it was run at a time when the fog was at its worst, but by the time they came into view Fox Appeal was still in the mix.
He came down three out, though, and Walk In The Mill (9-2) was left to come home 22 lengths clear of Orbasa under James Best.
“Who knows what would have happened if Fox Appeal had stood up,” said Walford.
