Partypoker Unveils Its Richest Powerfest Yet; $11M Guaranteed

Online poker giant partypoker has released details of its latest Powerfest Festival and it is its most ambitious yet with more than $11 million in guaranteed prize pools.
When partypoker launched Powerfest in February 2016, it featured 98 events with combined guarantees of $5 million. The number of events almost doubled to 172 when partypoker next ran Powerfest, in May 2016, and the guarantees increased to $7.8 million.
In September 2016, Powerfest again hit the partypoker virtual felt, this time bringing $10 million in guarantees across 198 tournaments. On Jan. 22 the biggest and richest Powerfest on record kicks off with the first of 224 tournaments and over $11 million in cash to be won.
