Bosnia – Knezevic’s 38-point game gives him Player of the Week award

DraskoKnezevic 23-year old point guard Drasko Knezevic (186-PG-93) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Zrinjski HT and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.He had the game-high 38 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Zrinjski HT in his team’s victory, helping them to edge out Gradjanski (#9, 3-7) 87-83. Zrinjski HT was forced-out from the top positions in Bosnia and Herzegovina league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Zrinjski HT will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team’s last game Knezevic had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 14 attempts. He turned to be Zrinjski HT’s top player in his first season with the team. Knezevic has impressive league stats. He is league’s best scorer averaging so far 20.4ppg. Knezevic is in league’s top in assists (2nd best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 2.6spg.Second best performed player last round was Bojan Lulic (196-SF-95) of Bosnjak.
