Billy Joel to perform at SunTrust Park on April 28

ATLANTA — Sticking with their commitment to make SunTrust Park and its many adjoining entertainment options an all-inclusive year-round destination spot that extends beyond baseball, the Braves proudly revealed that Billy Joel will perform the first concert staged within the new stadium.
Joel will bring his world-renowned show to SunTrust Park on April 28, when the Braves begin a three-game series in Milwaukee. The six-time GRAMMY Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member will be making his first solo appearance in Atlanta since 2015.

“We couldn’t think of a better artist to help us open SunTrust Park to the music business,” Braves president of business Derek Schiller said. “To get Billy Joel to perform our first concert here, I think it’s like hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth. So we’re super excited.”
